AUBREYONNA VAN HOOSE

Hello and thanks for being here! My name is Aubreyonna Van Hoose. I am a filmmaker, photographer, content creator and journalist.  I'm an alumni of Toledo School for the Arts and graduated with my honors diploma and a Video Production certificate in 2019.

In 2015, I started editing Star Wars fan videos with Windows Movie Maker. It eventually turned into career interest. Now, I am proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop.

Along the way, I made my own films; "Vogue," "Your Wiping Days Are Over," "Fascination," and "Nothing To See Here." Each film was selected into a film festival, either locally or in major cities such as Miami or New York City. "Vogue," "Nothing To See Here" and "Fascination" all have won awards at local film festivals.

There are plenty of opportunities that have expanded my knowledge in filmmaking. I've collaborated with local filmmakers and production companies to create short films such as, "The Legend of Holcomb Road." Also, I've worked with various clients to create wedding videos, beautiful family portraits, or even music videos.

My first year of college allowed me to test my writing capabilities. In the fall of 2019, I started writing for the local campus newspaper; The BG News. Articles are about campus, entertainment and city news. May 2020, I received an award for "Columnist of the Year."

In the future, I'd like to work at Lucasfilm headquarters as a content producer in any medium. I thoroughly enjoy writing, interviewing people and editing videos and hope to have a successful job that combines all three hobbies.
